  • Is your school registered with MPI?
    Yes, Aksum Driving School is registered as a driver training school under the Drivers and Vehicles Act.
  • Can I take in car lessons with a foreign (international) driving license?
    Unfortunately no. We can only provide lessons to valid Class 5 license holder. You must first pass the MPI knowledge test and obtain either a class 5L or a class 5A license. However, we can help you prepare for the MPI knowledge test.
  • How many hours of instruction do I need?
    The number of instructional hours needed depends on your experience, learning pace, and comfort level. For new drivers, we suggest 7-8 hours with our driving instructor, along with 30-45 hours of practice with family and friends before taking the road test.
  • Can I use your training vehicle for my MPI road test?
    Yes.
