Is your school registered with MPI?

Yes, Aksum Driving School is registered as a driver training school under the Drivers and Vehicles Act.
Can I take in car lessons with a foreign (international) driving license?

Unfortunately no. We can only provide lessons to valid Class 5 license holder. You must first pass the MPI knowledge test and obtain either a class 5L or a class 5A license. However, we can help you prepare for the MPI knowledge test.
How many hours of instruction do I need?

The number of instructional hours needed depends on your experience, learning pace, and comfort level. For new drivers, we suggest 7-8 hours with our driving instructor, along with 30-45 hours of practice with family and friends before taking the road test.
Can I use your training vehicle for my MPI road test?

Yes.
I failed the MPI road test 4 times, are you able to sign off the "DRIVING INSTRUCTION VERIFICATION FORM "?

Yes, we are able to sign off the DRIVING INSTRUCTION VERIFICATION FORM for those who have failed the MPI road test up to 4 times. Our instructor will provide you with the necessary instructions and practice to help you pass your road test the next time.
